We absolutely loved this place when we found it in February. This impromptu trip did not disappoint. Very much worth the drive from Anchorage. Extra special to have our favorite server extraordinaire... Jody. Can’t wait for another long weekend in Anchorage.

A MUST-EAT!! My sister and I traveled to Alaska for a vacation and wanted to try a bunch of local spots. This one takes the cake! The salmon was PHENOMENAL. Fresh-caught and flavorful. The service was wonderful as well. The atmosphere is very clean, relaxed, and welcoming. Please do read the positive reviews on this eatery and ignore the negative ones because I cannot praise it enough! I decided to get the ribeye main course but sub salmon instead of steak so that I could enjoy the potatoes and shaved Brussels sprout salad and it was so worth it! My sister got the sock-eye salmon main course with the risotto and snap peas and loved it. Highly recommend!

I can see why Spoonline Bistro in Girdwood, AK, receives so many five-star reviews. This beautiful, clean, and well-lit restaurant perfectly accommodates both larger groups and tables of two. Thanks to the thoughtful seating arrangements, there were no noise issues, and I could easily hear my wife. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by smiling servers. As someone with celiac, I appreciated the multiple gluten-free options, including the pork chops and wild-caught salmon, which we split. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. This is definitely fine dining in a rural setting. Highly recommended!

Brunch menu on Saturday through Monday. We got the breakfast bowl with sausage and bacon and the baked French toast. Both were fantastic. The French toast had the right amount of crispy and sweetness. Service was excellent and the views of the mountains from the porch were phenomenal.

Nice small restaurant. We went for dinner at 5pm right when they opened and it wasn’t busy and parking wasn’t too impossible. The wait staff is extremely friendly. Setting is very cozy. There is outdoor sitting outdoor as well. We had the asparagus wrapped in Prosciutto and it was delicious. It comes with a sauce you’ll die for. The caesar salads were like a wedge salad and needed more dressing but that was fine. We got more dressing with no issue. We had the house pasta special of the day and it was so good. I definitely recommend having the pasta if they have it when you go. I got it with scallops. Way over my expectations as far as taste!! It costed 20 as an add on but there was 4 so 5 a scallop. Also having was the rib eye. Tender, juicy, and wonderful. The sauce could be a tad reworked but good. Lastly, we had the cherry tart. Just perfect to finish off the meal. This could be for one person but if you’re not that hungry, share it. There is an almond crust. Do try this place out. It’s cozy, it’s friendly, and most importantly, delicious! Check out the menu (as of 9/5/2023).

Had my favourite meal in the whole of Alaska at Spoonline Bistro. The food was so fresh, our server made an effort to tell us all about 49th brewery and recommended where to get it. The food was so hot and fresh - I had the duck (I’m gluten free), and we ordered the cheesecake to go. They also had gluten free cookies and other bits too!!

We recently ate dinner here and were very impressed with the quality and taste of our meals, so we thought we'd try breakfast. We were equally pleased! We thoroughly enjoyed our Southwest Egg Benedict on english muffins with potatoes. The combination of flavors was delightful to our taste buds. We'll be back to treat ourselves again. We came here for a weekend brunch and the restaurant wasn’t too busy. It’s a pretty small space but a great spot to enjoy a nice cozy and quiet meal while staying in Girdwood. Their service was fast and the staff extremely friendly. My husband ordered a breakfast burrito with bacon, sausage, and pork chili verde, pretty much a super loaded burrito. He said it was perfect with a sweet taste to it, kind of mapley. I ordered the Shakshuka: poached eggs in a savory tomato and sweet pepper sauce served with warm bread, feta and fresh herbs. It was absolutely delicious and had a slight spicy kick to it too! Both meals were amazing and incredibly rich in flavor! We ordered two coffees to go with our meals . Overall an absolutely fantastic experience and we will definitely come back when staying in Girdwood!
